  • SUBCLASS 462

    This visa lets people between 18 to 30 years old have an extended holiday in Australia for 12 months and work here to help fund their trip. Australia has opened 5000 vacancies of this visa for Chinese people, but they can only apply once in a lifetime. The Work and Holiday visa starts on the date you enter Australia even if you are transiting through Australia or also have a valid: electronic travel authority, crew travel authority, and maritime crew visa.

    The applicant can study for up to 4 months during holding this visa. Most importantly, the applicant will become eligible to apply Second Work and Holiday Visa if he or she does 3 months of specified subclass 462 work. However, you can only work for the same employer for 6 months.

    ELIGIBILITY

    • You must be a citizen of and hold a valid passport from eligible country

    • Be aged 18 to 30

    • Must not have entered Australia on Subclass 462 and Subclass 417 previously

  • SUBCLASS 417

    This visa lets people between 18 to 35 years old have an extended holiday in Australia for 12 months and work here to help fund their trip. The Work and Holiday visa starts on the date you enter Australia even if you are transiting through Australia.

    The applicant can study for up to 4 months during holding this visa. Most importantly, the applicant will become eligible to apply Second Work and Holiday Visa if he or she does 3 months of specified subclass 417 work. You can only work for the same employer for 6 months.

    ELIGIBILITY

    • You must be a citizen of and hold a valid passport from eligible country

    • Be aged 18 to 35

    • Must not have entered Australia on Subclass 462 and Subclass 417 previously

  • Subclass 485

    This visa is a 2~5 years temporary visa for students who have completed two years of study in Australia. The purpose of this visa is to allow students to work in Australia.

    The applicant who applies for this working visa needs the condition that his or her first student visa is submitted after November 5th, 2011. The applicant needs to complete at least 2 years of actual study in higher education. When submitting the visa application, the applicant needs to get score 6 on each single band for IELTS test. At the time applicant submits this visa, the applicant needs to have a valid student visa and must be in Australia. Lastly, the applicant must submit the visa application within 6 months of graduation.

    Eligibility:

    • Under 50 years of age

    • 1st student visa is after November 5th 2011

    • Have valid student visa

    • Have at least 2 yeas of higher education study in Australia

    • IELTS single band 6

    • Have adequate health insurance

  • Subclass 485

    This visa is a 18-month temporary visa for students who graduated with skills and qualifications that are relevant to specific occupations in Australia needs. The purpose of this visa is to allow students to work in Australia.

    The applicant who applies for this working visa needs the condition that his or her first student visa is submitted before November 5th, 2011. The applicant needs to complete at least 2 years of actual study in qualification relevant to an occupation on the skilled occupation list. If the student’s immigration conditions meet the Australian 189 immigration conditions, the student can apply for a permanent visa at any time. When submitting the visa application, the applicant needs to get score 6 on each single band for IELTS test. At the time applicant submits this visa, the applicant needs to have a valid student visa and must be in Australia. Lastly, the applicant must submit the visa application within 6 months of graduation.

Skilled Visas

  • Subclass 189

    This visa is for invited workers and New Zealand citizens with skills we need, to live and work permanently anywhere in Australia. With this visa, you can work and study anywhere in Australia, bring eligible family members to Australia for permanent residency. However, applicants must have a look on skilled occupation list before coming to Australia, and have a suitable skills assessment for the occupation (each occupation has different skills assessment authority and requirements). When the applicant gets satisfactory points on the points test, they will be invited to apply for this visa.

    Eligibility:

    • Be invited to apply

    • Have a suitable skills assessment

    • Be aged under 45

    • Be able to score 65 points or more on points test

  • Subclass 190

    This visa lets nominated skilled workers live and work in Australia as permanent residents. Applying for the state sponsored visa can provide the applicant with extra 5 points, so applicants only need to reach 60 points to satisfy the minimum immigration requirement. However, this does not mean that you will get the invitation letter from immigration department when your score reached 65 points. With this visa, you can work and study anywhere in Australia, and bring eligible family members to Australia for permanent residency. Applicants must have a look on skilled occupation list before coming to Australia, and have a suitable skills assessment for the occupation (each occupation has different skills assessment authority and requirements). When the applicant gets satisfactory points on the points test, they will be invited to apply for this visa.

  • Subclass 887

    This visa is for people who have lived and worked in specified areas of regional Australia on a previous, eligible visa. With this visa, you can stay in Australia permanently, work and study in Australia, get Medicare, and sponsor your relatives to come to Australia.

    Applicants must be in Australia and hold an eligible visa for at least 2 years including: Subclass 489, 495, 496, 475, 487 at the time this Skilled Regional Visa (Subclass 887) application is made. Also, applicants must have worked full-time for at least 12 months when applying this visa. However, applicants do not need to do skill assessment, do not need to submit English score, and do not need to submit the score on points test when transferring to this Skilled Regional Visa (Subclass 887) from eligible visas.   • Subclass 491

    This is a provisional visa. It is for skilled workers who want to live and work in regional Australia. With this visa, you can stay in Australia up to 5 years, travel to and from Australia as many times as you want, while the visa is valid. However, the applicant must be nominated to apply by a State or Territory government agency, or an eligible relative to sponsor you for applying this visa. Also, the applicant must have an occupation on a relevant skilled occupation list, and have a suitable skills assessment for the occupation. When the applicant gets satisfactory points on the points test, they will be invited to apply for permanent residence visa.

  • Subclass 191

    This visa is for people who have lived, worked and studied in designated regional area Australia on a previous, eligible visa. With this visa, you can stay in Australia permanently, work and study in Australia, get Medicare, and sponsor your relatives to come to Australia.

    Applicants must be in Australia and hold an eligible visa at the time this Skilled Regional Permanent Residence Visa (Subclass 191) application is made. Also, applicants must have lived and had a taxable income for at least 3 years when applying this visa. However, applicants do not need to do skill assessment, do not need to submit English score, and do not need to submit the score on points test when transferring to this Skilled Regional Permanent Residence Visa (Subclass 191) from eligible visas.
